What ends up on the sheet
Legal name, stage name, email, phone, role, PRO and IPI/CAE number, publisher with its own PRO and IPI, and the writer and publisher percentages as two separate pools that each total 100%. That’s everything a publisher needs to register the song — which is the part most split sheets leave out.
A split sheet records what everyone agreed in the room. It isn’t a substitute for a songwriter agreement or for registering the song with your PRO.
